I've tried the ruler method and the holes in the sticky pad as well, but I'd also like to increase my accuracy. Are there any relatively cheap pupilometers? My retail rx glasses would have cost me about $200, so I figure paying up to $100 for something that will get me an accurate PD will be great since no optician or optometrist I've talked to so far are lifting a finger to help me out here.
1. There is a $90 digital one on ebay, but I don't know whether the cost is worth it. I could get a more futuristic looking one for $140, but is the price premium worth it? 2. Or http://www.ppm-optics.com/ has a pocket pupilometer that seems like it could work ok, but I don't know how to order it from them. 3. I ordered a $1.29 from SelectSpecs, but it has yet to arrive. What are your experiences on inexpensive specially made measuring devices for PD? Thank you. -- Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
