I am new to this forum, so I'm not exactly sure how to directly
respond to a specific post. I would like my statement (below) to be

Replacement Lens Express has been making prescription eyeglass lenses
since 1982. They have only recently launched their website www.replacementlensexpress.com
, which looks pretty good, but I don't think it's comprehensive yet.
I know for a fact that they do cut lenses for full and half frames, as
well as rimless mounts. This is a very rare talent that is unmatched
in
the industry. I believe you've found it challenging to find companies
which will do this for less than a few hundred dollars. I believe
that RLE
will do this for less than $100, although you should definitely
check with them (their e-mail is [email protected]).
They can do any challenging piece of work that you have. They are
"famous" in the industry for custom designed eyewear including
rindstones, interesting tinting options, you name it. Plus they have
a 100%
satisfaction guarante policy.
I hope you are able to have the lenses replaced in your antitque
pince-nez frames! Please post a photo or a link of your photo when
they are replaced- I'm sure we're all dying to see what they look
like!
