Changing the nose pads can help...they are available in a number of sizes,
so a larger size might spread the weight around a bit more.  It doesn't
sound like it's a materials issue, but is instead a pressure issue,
especially since the silicone (hypoallergenic) didn't fix it.

Try larger nose pads to spread the load...and try asking a local eyeglass
dispensary for help.  They may know a few "tricks" that would help.  There
is even a full bridge that attaches to the nose pad mount, that spreads the
load even more.
