In August of last year, I paid 85. for my exam with my own optometrist. I know the difference between optometrist and opthalmologist. Optometrist charges less because he does not do surgeries.
I did not have vision insurance so I had to pay the full 85. which I thought was fair. One year later, I went to make my appointment and thank goodness I asked how much the exam would cost because it is now 140!! Target Optical was 75. last year. I just called and this year their rate went down to 65 dollars. Their rates went DOWN!
