Some additional thoughts on the 'control system' isSHEWs, mentioned in
the initial post.

The majorty of the scientific community (the most sensitive and
accurate sensor system available to mankind) agrees on the necessity to
reduce emission of greenhouse gases and a huge number of other measures
to prevent further decay of human and(/or?) ecological well-being.

Our current local, national and global governance systems however, are
not sufficiently equipped with control elements that enable them to act
in time, with appropriate measures on relevant signals and signal
trends to make them ensure that we and future generations, the
stakeholders of our governance systems, can trust in being and
remaining to be well.

Instead of predominantely initiating adjustment of their plans based on
signals that are relevant for securing SHEW for us and future
generations (the stakeholders!), national governments merely act on
signals that are relevant to their own well-being, directly related to
election results on short-term. For local and global governments the
situation is not that much different.

So what can stakeholders do?

Signing petitions is one option.

Trying to get them to behave against their own natural tendencies is
another.

We seek to find others ways: more efficient and more effective!

We believe that as soon as we, the stakeholders, are aware of our
common destiny, responsibility, unity and ability we can find better
ways.

What about you?
