The trouble with Gore as a source on droughts, or
any other global warming issue, are the same that
one has with the popular press, a lack of details
with impressions attempting to replace them.
Gore has a particular problem with timescales,
he describes a catastrophe, but never says when
we are to expect his prediction.
We may be looking at the same problem with
unspecified timescales in Gleick's statement.
