Could, or does anyone think that, the CO2 "limit" of 280ppm might be
related to biosphere carbon sequestration? As the NH deglaciates,
boreal forests expand and move north - perhaps adding a positive temp
feedback at first, but ultimately sequestering enough carbon to
outcompete ocean outgassing. Then the orbital forcing moves into cool
phase, ice accumulates, ocean becomes sink again, climate begins slow
cooling, usw.
