Yes Eric.  There are many problems here.
So many, everyone can have his or her own.
The problem I first saw was that they
gloss over the wind speeds necessary for
their convection.  (Top of page 5.)
Also, the paper ignores observed changes
in the lapse rate.  (Middle of page 5.)

Yet, this is certain to become part of
"Cee-OH-Too" pseudo science, like the
'You can't average global temperatures.'
myth.
