I've been reading SCIENCE and other publications for more than 35
years. I also managed the writing and publication of a couple of
minor papers as well. Maybe you are thinking of ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
or some other astroturf journal like CLIMATE RESEARCH which published
the Soon and Baliunas paper in 2003...
