After a magnificent Monday and consolidated Tuesday, indices today tumbled in
last one hour and dragged the market from significant 3700 mark. Indices
opened firmed with a loss of nearly 31 points on SENSEX but soon recovered and
touched the 3700 barometer on NIFTY for the first time since October 7, 2008.

New Delhi: India’s economy, which has been hit harder than expected by the
global recession, may be on the path to recovery, some recent data suggests.
