...can i add some more if you want: 1) change the states from hardcoded (NEW, OLD) to configurable, and permit some user to change the state Some usefoul state are, eg, ``waiting'' (if you for example are waiting for some spare part), or some differences between the active state (new, just inserted, assigned to someone, active so been carried out) 2) change the priority from numerical to text, and permit some user to change the priority 3) permit some user to change the author and the assegnee 4) automatically log as comment these operation on the job comments 5) add a feature that IRM 1.4.X call ``fasttrack'': admin an tech users are allowed to insert job as if they where another user, very usefoul if people are more comfortable with phone calls or if you are an HelpDesk (people call you, but it is better to have the job inserted as if had the real user, so they can track). 6) when someone have to inset a job, display the open calls on the chosen computer, inviting the user to add a comment and not to open a new job if there's jut one open for the same problem.
