Having a feature which allow to clone an item seems useful, especially for some complex item (such as Profiles)
This is on the roadmap for 0.85 (feature #1314) I have start working on this in the Behaviors plugin for 0.83 (trunk version of the plugin) Feedback is welcome - which object should be clonable ? - should others plugin could use this feature ? - other comments ?
