you could use GLPI in translation mode to help you.
But I think it will not be sufficient for you.
With the 0.84 and the usage of gettext, we will be able to use context
and a same string use in various context (specific for genre or due to
english word used for 2 meanings)

When we are translating "in raw" a sentence, it should be very
interesting if we can see the sentence or word in a context, because
some synonyms are not eligible for using in certains ocasions.
In that window of the translation tool, it should be very helpful to
know WHERE the word is going to be applicated.
In languages with genres, like portuguese, if we use english as
original languae, we do not know what genre to use.
In french, as in portuguese, haut and haute, alto and alta,
respectively, are not interchangeable...
