Here is one place in 43.13-1B I recall from recently looking it up. If
vacuum pump people find teflon in a vacuum pump when they pull it apart
for
warranty work, the warranty is voided right there.
<I looked through ac43.13 for any guidance on teflon tape on pipe threads
and didn't see anything.>
8-38. FUEL SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS.
f. Do not use Teflon tape on any fuel lines to avoid getting the tape
between the flare and fitting, which can cause fluid leaks.
