Last night on the NBC news concerning the student pilot incident, there were about 5 segments which were filmed on location at various airports around the country. On one of the segments lasting about 30 seconds the backdrop showed a Coupe. I think the N number was 99595 and it looked to be in good shape. Right after the incident on September 11 the news channels and some aviation periodicals made mention of our Coupes also. The coverage was to the effect that "all aircraft have been grounded, from Boeing 747's to Ercoupes". Our little planes are constantly referenced in other ways.
