I recently found a master cylinder that had been serviced with
O rings that were not compatible with 5606. The O rings deformed 
and allowed the fluid to escape out the top of the master cylinder 
and all over the inside of the belly of the aircraft.  The reservoir was
about dry as a bone and a few more pumps of the brake pedal
would have exhausted all the fluid. :-(

While this might not pertain to Ryan's problem, I thought I'd mention
it to stress the importance of selecting the proper packing to insure
compatibility with the fluid being used.
