Weather and schedule have kept N99387 (and me) grounded for a little over 3 weeks. Today dawned warm (!) and clear (!!!). So we got re-acquainted. Wow! These are NICE airplanes. In the first place, they do just what you ask of them. In the second place, they don't ask much in return, just keep up the speed. Did about a dozen landings, more than half of them of the 'kill the power at some random point on down-wind and do what is necessary to a) miss the high tension wires and b) hit the runway and c) not touch the throttle except to clear the engine Nailed them all!
