Hey Mike,
Did you ever stop and wonder.....why the japanese car was on the
American car dealers used lot?
He obviously got smart and traded it in on an American car. He learned
the hard (expensive) way, but
at least he learned. I wonder what he got trade-in as compared to what it
sold for new?????????
How long since you've seen or heard about those 'great' (?) CVCC
engines that Honda was bragging
about? Why don't they make them any more if they were so great? Because
they couldn't keep exhaust
valves in the pre-combustion chambers. They kept burning out and causing
very expencive repair jobs.
Thus, they used consumers dollars for their R&D and when they found that
they couldn't get it right they
just 'discontinued' the project.
I know, because I was working at a Pontiac / Honda store at that time
and I spent a lot of time back
in the shop talking with the mechanics.
Oh well, it's time for me to get back to my fall-out shelter I guess.
