Radio Shlock sells a ciggy lighter adapter which produces an assortment of stepped-down voltages via a switch. I'm not usually a fan of theirs, but their 'Adapta-plug' system has expanded to be a really nice DC power conversion and routing system with a lot of choices. There is at least some chance, though, that the intercom in question has a voltage tolerance that equals or exceeds 13.6 volts. Check with the manufacturer.
