Has anyone ever thought of adding perhaps a
carbon-fiber bar or some other light- weight but super
strong material, formed in the shape of the canopy and
mounted just behind the sliding window of the canopy?
This would maybe hold the plane off the ground enough
for escape in the event of flip over. If any one has
any ideas on this, let me know. This would at least
eliminate chopping a hole in the fuselage.
