Hello Paul, People talk "about" the Ercoupe out of ignorance. The standard response I give to these poor souls is, "I'm sorry it's obvious you have never had the pleasure of flying in an Ercoupe". This usually sets them back a step and they think for awhile. Everyone that I give a ride to in my 'Coupe is totally pleased with it. I took a friend of mine flying that is a dyed in the wool "tail dragger pilot". He owns a Stearman, an OTW and a Cessna 185. He walked away with a smile on his face. The Ercoupe speaks for it's self.
