There is a service bulletin that came out after an accident, I have a copy
of it somewhere. It seems a
fellow was going to jump out of the Ercoupe and the pilot slowed the plane
for his exit, when he climbed
onto the right wing the aircraft went into a right turn which the pilot
could not control well the
fellow on the wing seeing the aircraft was descending in a right turn now
was afraid to jump and stayed
on the wing well the pilot finally landed the aircraft and came to a
sudden stop at this time the jumper
left the plane in a forward motion. True Story. Jim N87349
