Subject: Re: [COUPERS-TECH] Cleveland Brakes

Ahhh,

the secret must not be out yet......

Save your hard earned money and dont buy clevelands. You need the 1/4inch
thick goodyear discs from Fresno airparts. 27 dollars each. Then you buy
the new puck set from Barry Jay aviation- 10 bucks per puck. They give
you one big and one small puck- you need the small one to take up for the
extra thickness of the new brake disc. The goodyears slip right into
place, and my 337 field approval was posted in last months coupe capers.
Bleed your brakes good, and with these new parts in place (about 100
bucks worth of parts) you will have brakes that are as good as any
clevelands out there.... guaranteed.

During run-up, the coupe hunkers down on the nose strut you think that
the prop is going to hit the pavement. Taxi along at any speed, hit the
brakes and you'll skid flat spots into your tires.
they really work great.....
