6564Q is an '65 Alon, C-90 with 9 gal wing tanks and 6 gal header tank.
Wing fuel caps are NOT vented, header cap is vented. When I accidentally
overfill the wing tanks, they leak fuel from under the new gaskets, so I'm
not sure if the lack of a vent means airtight. The wing caps have on
occasion been so tight that removal and replacement required a wrench.
Still leaked when overfilled. Flys fine. I have not yet flown it far
enough in one stretch to empty the wing tanks and start burning from the
header tank, so I don't know if there is any ill-effect with the current
wing caps not venting, but these caps are what my manual calls for.
