For the price of a few custom placards you can get
a Brother P-Touch labeler. If you get a mid-range one,
it makes labels in multiple different fonts and type
sizes, with multiple lines. You can get backings that
are white, black, or clear, (among others) with lettering
that is red, black, white, or gold (among others). The clear
with lettering that contrasts with your panel looks nice.
They're durable. They're cheap. I think they look better
than the plastic laminates, being about as close to
factory 'decals' as you can get.

This is definitely a long step up from 'Dymo' labels :-)
