----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hi Artie, According to the book "The Ercoupe", Captain Boushey (USAAC) made this flight in August 1941 at March Field, so it had to be a 1941 Coupe or older. You're right about the N number, you can read it in the picture. Incidently, they removed the propellor for this flight so he was definately a member of the 'EGC' (Ercoupe Glider Club) except he would be the only member of he Rocket Powered Glider Club. ;-) I was stationed at March Field for a couple of years but he'd already left so I didn't get to meet him. :-(

My Oct 1940 Luscombe was NC28782, so I guess this was maybe a 1940 Coupe. Does that number ring a bell anywhere? ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
