I saw this on another site and thought it was cute: True story (no really); A newly licensed helicopter pilot had been taking everyone he knew for rides here at BFI. On this particular flight he took along a female friend, who, after take off sat out the flight in cold, stony silence. After landing the pilot, puzzled by this reaction, asks "Did you enjoy the flight?" To which the woman frostily replies; "WHY did you open the door and yell QUEER! at that man on the ramp before take off??" (and after the pilot stopped laughing he explained the usage of the word "Clear!" for her education.
