Good morning all, has anyone put a higher output generator on their Coupe? The ammeter on my Coupe continuously flickers to the charge side and back, even without the strobe on. This is without any lights or real power drains on the system. Also, if I hook up my Pilot III to the cigarette lighter plug without batteries in the unit it does not get enough power to keep it from cutting out every 5 minutes or so. If I put batteries in then it works continuously so I know it is not the unit, I am leaning towards blaming the regulator so any ideas or past experiences would be welcome.
