Certainly, all our prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery go out to this gentleman. You know, for an aircraft that some would have us believe is unsafe or poorly designed the Ercoupe sure seemes to have come through for this pilot. When the gear caught the fence it must have flipped over very hard, yet the airframe showed a lot of strength and went a long way to preserving his life. I know not everyone is as lucky as this gentleman seems to have been under the circumstances, but certainlythe aircraft protected him as well or better than many I can think of.
