I have been keeping track of all costs this year. I run about 5.5 gph on
a c-85.

For fuel pricing go to airnav.com and check fuel prices in your area.
Fuel prices vary across the country.

In Chicago:
80 runs 2.35-2.60
Autogas runs 1.65-1.85 - At an FBO. I can not but autogas in the summer
months as they reformulate it.

1qt oil every 6-8 hours.

Insurance with 22k hull is $800/year.

Annual has been between 450-550/year. Your first annual may be more
depending on the shape of the plane.

You'll have a hard time finding any other plane cheaper to fly. Not to
mention fun.

Hi Group,

Well, its coming down to the wire. My wife wants me to put some
numbers
together for her to see if we can afford to take the plunge. I have the
cash to buy the plane, and have traded for a hanger. So what I need
help
with is some figures of cost per hour to maintain and fly a coupe with
an
auto fuel STC. The maintenance has been very good, and baring any
unforeseen, (I know they happen) I need to give her some bare bones
cost
per hour to operate.

Thanks

Gaylon
