As I sit here, having arisen at 0400 to set out for TEW, I observe on Doppler that the ONLY major set of thunderstorms on the entirety of the area (for about 600 miles) are now centered directly over my hangar, and extend directly on my path of flight for the first 30 miles on the rhumb line of my course.
