Hi guys
I got my new continental engine overhaul manual today!
From what it says , the mags I have, eisemann LA-4's , do suppress
radio noise. The wires are in poor condition as they have cracks in the
insulation..
The top plugs have steel cups that screw over top of them. These cups
have caps that
screw onto the tops of them & the plug wire goes through the side.Still
haven't had
a chance to try it again to see if there is any difference from one mag
to the other, but
I do know that there is no noise at an idle. The sound starts as I speed
up the engine.
