Hello to all, I'd like to say I have a nice time at the Nationals.The planning was very good , the food was very good, And yes the COUPERS are the BEST.Lotsa knowledge about airplanes talked aboutand other topics. I wonder if Ben Hacker was WAY over gross with all the well deserved awards on board.Great coupe.I wanted to burn my coupe after seeing his (quiet GREG).I had something happen goin home that I should talk about it's the header tank sight guage tube w/ wire float. I was about 3/4 of an hour out of Mason when I noticed my wire was 2/3 down-not up top as usual.My thought was that's odd so for the next 15 minutes I watched it, it fell ever so slightly but it did. I radioed Joe behind that I was landing at 3 rivers to take a look.Upon landing I looked at the pump It was very wet.So I felt this was the culprit I tightened up the top nut just a little with secured it I felt better.I fired it up and ran it up and the tank filled upto the top.It seeps a tad so I'm gunna replace the cork and the topwasher even though these were replaced at annual.So if your header tank sight guage seems off look at the pump it may be the issue.
