I have a question for those of you that have 0-200s
with the 69X48 prop that the STC calls for.

What static RPM are you seeing on the average on
ground runup? I'm at about 500' and see 2350-2400
with temps 50-70 degrees F. This would be with
barometer probably average for the elevation since
I wouldn't be flying with it way low and we have found
high pressure to be somewhat rare in the Northwest
lately. <G>

I suspect my prop is closer to a 50 pitch than the
required 48. It wouldn't be the first prop I've run into
that was pitched other than what was marked on it.
I was able to compare it to a known 52 pitch on an
0-200 and I was 100 RPM higher than the 69X52.

There has been some complaint about the 48 pitch
prop hitting red line too easily so a repitch by someone
in the past would be possible.

Thanks

Paul
