Hmmmm....  That sounds about right, Pete.  My experiences has been to
ASSURE you have flying speed, then yank it off in a very
"commanding fashion."  Part of it is to visualize what will happen as you
taxi to take off.  See the wind blowing you across the
runway.  See yourself banking into the wind right at lift off.  Feel the
center line under your tokus as you climb out.  Try that.
