Hullo everyone, I have some good news to share. The new DG and AH I installed were not getting enough suction with the two 4" venturies, even with a venturi dedicated to each instrument. Because my Coupe always flies in a slip I only get about 85 MPH in cruise and this was not fast enough to operate the venturies enough to operate the instruments. I asked for input on these sites and a fellow Couper told me about a 9" venturi at Aircraft Spruce. It cost $65 and is worth every penny. Any airspeed above 80 it works like a dream, the suction gauge indicates 5 and the DG and AH are working great. I heartily recommend this venturi to anyone else having venturi problems. I did cheat and put it on the side which is always getting the most air in a slip but it works so well that I believe you would be happy with the product in a normal flying Coupe.
