My oil temp gauge works fine but the prob/ sending unit is no good. It's an electrical unit. The temp gauge ranges from 40 degrees to 120 degrees C, bottom row. The top row has hash marks with 140, 180, and 220 degrees F. I ordered a prob from Skyport and installed same but as soon as I turned on the master swirch the gauge indicates 160 degrees F. Skyport states the lowest temp prob they sell is a 250 degree F prob. There is no name on the oil gauge but there is a number "3895" on the original temp prob. I have also tried Wag-Aero and Aircraft Spruce with no luck. They recomend changing both the prob and gauge to a mechanical system. I got the prob from Skyport for $13.00 I'de rather just change the prob. CAN ANYONE HELP ME? Bryce L. Getchell N. Dartmouth, MA.
