I managed to fix the hole in my nose bowl today by adding a patch and a
flange for a cold air vent.
I found a good deal that I would like to share.
I needed some 1 5/8" tubing to move the air from the flange on the
nosebowl
to the flange on the heater box on the firewall. The aeroduct stuff does
not
come in this size, but if it did it would be 6 bucks a foot or higher.
I found at Aircraft spruce catalog some stainless steel heliflex conduit
that
is 1 5/8" and matches the aluminum heliflex that is in there now. The good

part is that it is 99 cents a foot. They have plenty of it. It will last
much
longer than anything else on the plane and has no problem with high
temperature. (You could probably use it for exhaut pipe).
I got 10 feet so I will be replacing all the old aluminum heliflex and
aeroduct.
