This probably doesn't count amoung the official ways to find an
original "N" number, but I found the # on my coupe, which has been in
Canada for umteen years. When stripping the paint to bare metal, I
could just make out the original numbers eched into the aluminium. By
getting the light just right, I could read the12" letters that were
originally painted on at birth. After looking up the site were coupes
are listed by "N" # , I found the coupe that was produced right after
mine! Both Coupie twins are still flying.
It's foggy this morning in Qualicum Beach,B.C. The ceiling is about
eight feet. I guess I'll have to keep my circuits low today! Another
three weeks and the days start getting longer!!!!!!
