Howdy all coupers, especially you PDX coupers- I sure hope you didnt waste the last two flying days! I had to fly up to SkyWest's PDX maintenance facility and teach a Boroscope class, and both days were absolutely marvelous. Perfectly clear, and nice crisp temperature- the stuff that 700 fpm climp is made of! One question- Pearson field is right next to the river, and about 1/8 mile away from the final approach to PDX. How do you keep the coupes and cubs from tangling with the F-15s and other airliners?????? Also , what airport did we fly over that's south of Portland, just below a small river?
