Just for fun, or maybe as an experiment, ask your wife / girlfriend/ mother or significant other female of the species if they can tell you what products the following five companies manufacture. They get progessively harder. You may be surprised. If she gets all 5 right, be suspicious. Post the responses. My wife and daughter's responses are shown below. HARLEY DAVIDSON: motorcycles / motorcycles (just an easy one to get them going) SMITH & WESSON : salad dressing / aircraft BELL & HOWELL : coffee / aircraft engines LIGETT & MAYERS : gave up / gave up BRIGGS & STRATTON : pork sausage / something to do with planes. I guess my family thinks I am obsessed with the 100 dollar hamburger idea... They asked me some: CROSS & BLACKWELL: was the only one I got right. Alan Fairclough.
