That's exactly what I have maintained for a long time, Jim. It is at the
root of a lot of aviation/government problems.
They CANNOT "apply all FAA rules," for if they did, the voters would
replace the entire House of Representatives
(they are all up for re-election every other year), how ever many Senators
they could get their hands on, and Dub-yuh
him very self. You could smell the heated tar (as in tarred, feathered
and run out of town on a rail) from DC to Portland.
The only way we get any respect is through the ballot box; i.e., number
of voters. We MUST be inclusive in our sport,
or we will become like dodos (not only flightless, but extinct).
