Using an old Sony Erricson dumb phone with Java and the old Java Gmail app. Until this evening it worked fine. However, now it keeps throwing error "Username and Password do not match", but the information is correct and my Windows 7 browser based GMail works with the same password.
I can no longer find the old Gmail Java app on Google and I suspect that GMAIL may now require communication using HTTPS and the old app uses HTTP and I can find now way to switch to HTTPS. I've enjoyed being a cell phone Luddite, but it looks like I'm about to get a new phone.
