I work for a company that is truly obsessed with controlling employees. Recently, I logged into my work gmail account, and a black symbol appeared similar to a smiley face (just eyes and smile-no circle around it). This occurred on both my work gmail and my private gmail , only when I have accessed it at work.
Obviously, I know they have access to my work email, but I was shocked to see the same symbol/emoticon appear when I accessed my personal gmail at work. Just prior to my discovery of this, they 'announced' to all of us that they had 'updated' a few things on our computers. Our network admin. is very controlling. Aside from my work email, can she see my personal email, even remotely, on days she doesn't come to work?
