Erin, So you forward all emails from your work Gmail to your personal Gmail and you want all your work emails archived? This is easy to do.
Forget about POP or IMAP. You don't need it. Just go to your work Gmail account, go to settings, select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and then do the following. Under Forwarding, select the option to "Forward a copy of incoming mail to <your personal Gmail> and <archive Gmail's copy>." That's it. You still receive all emails in the personal Gmail account and all work emails are archived in the work Gmail account.
