Well... what you found is a user's group; with no official Google
representation.  We can offer ideas on what might have happened, but if it
truly was a fault of Google's there's nothing we can do to help you.

If you click your settings button (looks a bit like a 6 toothed gear in the
top right, under your profile picture) there should be a Submit Feedback
link (there is for me, but sometimes people see something different).  That
is the only way to get something official back to Google.  I would
recommend, however, that you make sure you're not writing something
expecting a personalized response back.  There are millions of GMail users,
so we don't get personalized responses, usually, but I have seen things
submitted this way get resolved, or changed (if it was a change suggested).
