This has been a long standing problem/feature in Gmail. When you copy or BCC yourself in a message from Mac Mail, Gmail files it away in All Mail. This makes it hard to keep track of replies you have sent - especially if the IMAP syncing does not happen very frequently in places where data bandwidth is limited.
I have seen this posted ad-nauseam in many posts on Google Groups and other places. Finally, I seem to have figure out how to make it happen in Mac Mail. Perhaps the same approach can be taken for Outlook or other mail clients. Go to: Mail > Preference > Rules > Outbox Rules Add Rule Description - Anything you want If ANY of the conditions are met >From contains [email protected] Perform the following Actions before delivery No Actions Perform the following actions after delivery Copy (or Move) message to Mailbox: gmail: your account Thats it.
