And you posted your concern again in a public forum. I also saw your e-mail on a blog post comment you left a few years ago. (2 years, almost to the day)
Opensubscriber, and by association osdir, are e-mail archiving lists which report to save the e-mails so you don't have to for public forums. This is a bit asinine for a googlegroup in my opinion since Google archives them anyway. I know in the past the mods of this group have tried to keep it off opensubscriber, but as any one of the over 20,000 subscribers to this group could be receiving this as e-mail (I do) and write a rule to forward to opensubscriber, it's nearly impossible to stop. But as I said, google archives it as well, so it's always available there as well. To Opensubscriber's credit, they say the e-mail addresses are scrubbed, and when you do see one, it's obfuscated. So spambots shouldn't be able to read it... I can't say the same for Frank's Blog (where I saw your comments). I'm frankly more concerned about those as they also reveal personal information, not just your e-mail address.
