Hey Diane My desktop computer stays on continuously until we have load shedding and my UPS battery dies (yes, my country is receding into the dark ages) and so, therefore does my Chrome browser with many open tabs. I do sometimes see the 3-bar menu change colour from green to orange to red and then when I feel the urge I close all tabs and upon re-opening Chrome, it is up to date.
Google Update runs as a service on your computer. You don't really need to worry about it though, updates will happen in the background automatically. If you are OCD then you can just check for updates in Chrome yourself from time to time. 😜 Ciao -- Marko On Wed, Jul 22, 2015 at 10:51 AM, DEP/Dodo <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks, Marko.
