They can also select in their general settings if they want to receive notifications for things like "Send me an email if there is a status change on my post or topic" or "Send me an email when somebody assigns a topic to me." There are no options like this in Google Groups. Posts/Emails submitted to the *Gmail-Help Google Group* are just individual posts/emails. You can reply to them or not. That's about all you can do. Posts submitted to the *Gmail Help Google Product Forum* can be voted on. Readers can vote up replies by clicking on the +1 button at the bottom of the post.
